Very nice. This may have its own quirky consequences, but it's definitely good news.

Ya Anet heard us! Thank you! Now we can 'enjoy' the cinematics or use the time to take a toilet break or something

But do they continue to attack the enemy NPC's during those cinematics? I always crack up in Vizunah Square when they start attacking the guardian spirits when you finish the mission - it's like they can't even talk without cringing in pain.

Thank goodness, maybe now every group you enter won't have someone screaming "SKIP SCENE FOR MINION PETS!"

All we need now is for a bonder's energy to stay put during those cutscenes too.

This is all well and good, but can we still be beat on during cut scenes?

Nothing like having someone in your party not skip it, and have the whole team down to half hp and still degenerating due to the mesmer boss that attacked us while it was playing (Sujiang District mission), or have a party member brought down to ten health because the dijnns were beating on her during the cut scene in the Final Assault quest. It has happened many more times, but these are the only ones that I can remember off hand.

When going for Master's, I hate seeing the same movie over and over again (Tahnnakai Temple especially. I never, ever, want to see that cut scene again).

Well actually that's the necro boss. Comon misconception is that it must be a mesmer because it's degen. It's actually the necro skill Suffering.

Anyhow, this update is very useful. Now first timers can hold up the whole party while they watch the 1 minute cinematic of a squid poping out of the ground, or you and the NPC running 5 feet!
